We have been collaborating with Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) annually, raising awareness, donations and reinforcing the Core Values of “Appreciation” and “Partnership” in our preschool children and staff. With the belief that children are never too young to contribute to the community, we embarked on this year’s Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project in conjunction with CCF that inculcates good values in our children and encourage them to give back to society.
For SSDB 2019, Sunflower Kinderhub LLP @Stratton Road organised “By kids, for kids art museum” to provide an avenue for children to raise funds by putting up their crafts for sale. Here’s a look at some of their event preparations;
Children were introduced to the beneficiary CCF by viewing a video, “How are you feeling, Ben?” They learned the purpose of raising funds for the beneficiary and how their school is planning for it to be done.
Children worked together with their teachers to create beautiful artwork for display and wearable crafts. They were excited to showcase and sell their crafts to patrons of their museum!
