Agape Thomson SSDB 2024

ST SSDB Activity

The little STs were immersed in an engaging storytelling session regarding the many plants found in parks and the importance of keeping our natural environment clean. They were really enthralled by Teacher Sabrina’s storytelling voice and plot!

N1 SSDB Actvity

The N1 class was engaged in a wonderful storytelling session for SSDB week, choosing a book relating to animals and the environment.

They also had a sponge stamping activity to teach them the concept of using natural materials, relating to the SSDB theme of Little Nature Nurturers.

N2 SSDB Activity

The N2 class integrated the SSDB project of Little Nature Nurturers with their Term 2 theme of Animals.

To kickstart the event, the class indulged in one of the children’s favourite activities-listening to stories! They immersed themselves in the book “This is the Tree We Planted”, which narrates the tale of how a tree planted by a group of children can sustain an entire ecosystem, providing habitat and support for various animals.

K1 SSDB Activity

The K1 children’s design of their own parks was inspired by the book “An Adventure in Our City in a Garden”. They learnt about the diverse flora and fauna found in parks and the importance of keeping them clean to protect this natural environment.

K2 SSDB Activity

The K2s had a great time learning about the different parks in Singapore, especially their own neighbourhood Bishan- Ang Mo Kio park, which they have many fond memories of.

Afterwards, they had the chance to draw their own dream park, drawing upon features that they have seen in many real-life parks in Singapore. They included many trees, flora and fauna and their favourite playground structures.
