It was a meaningful learning journey for our K1 and K2 children to SWAMI nursing home where they serve the elderly and brought joy to them. We also conducted simple games as well as craft work with the elderly, therefore giving children the platform and opportunity to interact with the elderly. The aim of this trip is to build compassion and a sense of appreciation in our children for the pioneers of our nation. National Day is the best platform for the children to honour them and to learn about caring for the elderly. These are values that we want to instill and build in our children as they grow up to become responsible achiever in time to come.
