In conjunction with Start Small Dream Big Campaign, the children of Hampton Pre-School (Bishan) celebrated Kindness Day on Friday, 17 May 2019. Through the celebration, they learnt to express gratitude to others such as showing love to the centre’s hygiene ambassadors and cook, sending jolly cards to people in the neighbourhood and taking care of the environment around them.
The Kindergarten children performed dance for their beloved aunties. Thereafter, Nursery 2 children presented flowers to the aunties while the K2 children prepared healthy snacks for them as a token of appreciation for taking good care of them and the centre.
As part of caring for the earth, the children participated in recycling the Tetra Pak and cleaning up the park. They flipped, flapped and flattened the Tetra Pak before collecting them in plastic bag and putting them into the recycle bin.
