My First Skool @ Blk 229 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 held the SSDB Launch Party on 20 April 2019. As preparation, the K1 and K2 children collected carton boxes, empty plastic bottles and other recycled materials to use in making their carnival games. On the day of the event, parents brought goodies such as biscuits, coffee and chocolate drink to trade for game coupons. The food rations collected will be donated to COMNET Senior Activity Centre. The children manned the game stations while the parents enjoyed themselves playing carnival games in every station. In this meaningful event, the children understood ways of showing kindness and making a difference to the people around them as well as helping others in need while showing awareness on how they can take care of the environment through recycling. We can truly see them exemplify the “SSDB spirit” that everyone can do something!
