As part our Start Small Dream Big initiative, Kindercare Joo Seng partnered with Public Hygiene Council and organized litter-picking activity at our housing estates Blk 17&18.
To our surprised, there were lots of tissue papers, ciggarette butts, food wrappers and bottles lying around on the floor, grass and tables!
Children helped to pick and throw them into the garbage bag. Through the activity, they learned to be responsible and importance of cleaning up after themselves by disposing used/unwanted items into the bins.
After the activity, children presented their art work and food basket which our parents have also contributed to the cleaners as token of appreciation for their hardwork.
No one can do everything, everyone can do something! Together we can keep our neighbourhood clean!
