Inculcating Values - Showing Love to the Elderly

Children from Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 had the opportunity to visit Christalite Methodist Home. We visited the home together with children and staff from Little Footprint Preschool Blk 551. This is part of our Start Small Dream Big initiative to encourage children to give back to the community.

Prior to our visit, children and parents from Playgroup to Kindergarten 2 had played their part, by contributing food and drinks, which are the essentials for the elderly who stays in the home. Thank you children and parents for your generous contribution! We would like to also thank Janelle’s mum and Zhuo ‘Er’s mum for volunteering.

Children put up two performances to entertain the elderly in the home. They sang “Rasa Sayang”, which is a Malay folk song and “Listen to the Water.”

Let us take a look at some of the memories captured during the visit.
