For this year, our centre collaborated with the Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) in a fund raising project in conjunction with our open house to tie in the with ECDA’s Start Small Dream Big 2017. The aim of the project was to bring awareness to the children and families of our centre, to respect and appreciate the diversity of children in their community.
We invited Mr. Andrew the assistant director of DSA(Singapore) to our centre to give a little talk about what the children can do to support people with Down Syndrome. The children learnt the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is just that little extra!
