Various activities were conducted in the Kindergarten to celebrate Earth Day. Firstly, the children create an “Earth Day” craft & pen their personalised “love the earth” messages on their craft. Secondly, they brought objects from home to throw in the “labelled” bins placed in the Kindergarten. Lastly, an invitation was extended to parents & children to participate in an art & craft competition using only recycled materials. The response was overwhelming. This activity provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to bond with their children as communication & co-operation are vital for a successful outcome. The creativity of parents & children were fantastic. As a result, the staff had a difficult time selecting the winners.
