Learning Journey to NeWater Visitor Centre (June)

The K1 and K2 children were given opportunities to learn about water conservation and making of rain garden during the journey. The children had a fruitful time as they learned more about the water of Singapore. As our children lived in a luxurious environment compared to other children from other side of the world, they do not understand how precious water is.

As they took on this water journey, they learnt that water is indeed precious in Singapore. Now, they are more understandable to why it is important to save water.

During the learning journey, the children did mentioned that the best and most enjoyable part was going through the process of water cleaning.

They mentioned that the experience of going through the system of purifying the water was indeed the best of experience that they have gained.

Aside from learning about water conservation, the children also learnt to make rain garden. They were given first hand experience interacting with natural materials such as soil, stones, pebbles and etc.

The step by step instruction given by the facilitator helped the children to complete the rain garden easily.

It was indeed a fun and educational trip for the children! They were talking endless about their experience here!
