We had our first main fundraiser here at Greenland Childcare in support of our beneficiary, AMKFSC, as part of our SSDB project this year.
Throughout June, our students worked hard to create beautiful 2D and 3D works of art.
Parents were invited to our center to “purchase” the works of art by using their food donations as currency.
It was an incredibly successful event and with the support of our student’s parents, we were able to raise enough food donations to restock the shelves at a local Senior Activity Center where residents rely on food donations to stay healthy and well fed.
Amazing!
