Our nursery children were excited to make their final visit to the Senior Activity Center to visit with their new friends.
Their visit began with the children reading their English and Chinese readers to the seniors as an ice breaker. It was great to see their confidence bloom as the seniors praised them for their great efforts.
Following this, the children and seniors paired up to compete in a fashion challenge.
The seniors were tasked with creating an outfit for the children using only recycled newspaper and tape.
It was great to see how involved the seniors got with this particular challenge. There were some truly beautiful outfits as a result.
Finally, the children of on a fashion show for the seniors, walking down the “cat walk” to show off their incredible outfits.
