As part of our efforts in extending our helping hands, we held a donation drive in which parents and children from all levels bought essential items like biscuits, instant noodles, adult diapers and toiletries.
The children then took turns and helped to organise the items neatly into boxes.
We would like to say a big ‘THANK YOU!’ to all parents for their contributions to Jamiyah Nursing Home, and their involvement in supporting the children during the befriending sessions! 🩷
We believe that this year’s project was a meaningful one for all. Communicating and interacting with the community allowed the children to build connections with others, and have a better understanding of the world. With the guidance from Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), this project gave the children an opportunity to practice empathy and care on a bigger scale. 👵🏼🧓🏼❤️
