Children at Hampton Pre-School (Bishan) visited elderly at Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home on 16 May 2019.
The K1 and K2 children performed dance and song items for the elderly. The performance put a big smile on the elderly. Thereafter, the children interacted and dedicated their time chatting with the elderly to show them they are valued. In addition, the teachers and the children handed over donation items (i.e.: food, grocery items, sanitary needs, vitamins and medications) from the families, specially for the elderly.
When it was time for the children and teachers to depart, the children went around to shake hands with the elderly. It was definitely a meaningful bonding session with them.
A big thank you to Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home for giving Hampton Pre-School this opportunity to show kindness, love and appreciation to the elderly.
