Here’s to another year of celebrating Hari Raya Puasa! This year’s celebration was made more meaningful by celebrating iIt together with the start small dream big 2023 kickstart.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate with our Muslim friends and be one with them as the children learnt more about their traditions and cultures.
The children were engaged in various activities related to the event such as creating Hari Raya decorations, ketupat making, games such as jigsaw puzzle, Takraw, paper weaving, and pin the ketupat to name some.
On this day, we kickstarted the SSDB 2023 by launching our donation drive for migrant workers at My Fellow Workers Tuas South Recreational Center. The children had a full week schedule of food preparation for some items we donated to the migrant workers. PN1-PN2 children helped in baking banana cake while Nursery to K2 children helped in baking and brownies as well as cooking and packing the curry cornflakes.
It was a good start to spread kindness by sharing our blessings to those people who are away from their families and helping build our community to be a better one. It’s a good way to add joy to their lives this season.
